National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) was the second largest lender in the United Arab Emirates and the largest lender bank in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

National Bank of Abu Dhabi and First Gulf Bank have merged, establishing the largest bank (First Abu Dhabi Bank) in the UAE with approximately $186 billion in assets.
