Leaders and iconoclasts the focus of Banking Innovators conference
Retail banking is about to go through a great change, and a Banking Innovators conference in London in June will examine that coming evolution from the perspective of the pioneers of the new ways.
"Banking Innovators 2015 is one of the first retail finance conferences that focuses on the innovators rather than the innovations," said John Egan, head of Innovation at Lafferty Group.
"Lafferty Group has been a pioneer in research and thought leadership at the interface of personal finance and the economics of the internet, so the Banking Innovators conference is our way of giving a platform to leaders and iconoclasts in this space."
The conference will take place at Level39 in London on 30 June.
Speakers include finance pioneer Suresh Ramamurthi, chairman of CBW in Kansas and CEO of software firm Yantra Financial Services, Anne Boden, founder and CEO of Starling Bank, and James Moed of Anthemis Group.
"Attendees will get a first look at new research about the opportunities for digital banking and digital currencies, and they will get to meet executives leading the innovation agendas from inside some of the world’s most progressive banks," said Mr Egan.
"Lafferty Group has a long record of customer advocacy and promoting competition so we're well positioned to narrate this evolution in retail banking."
Lafferty Group is a research, education and publishing business specialising in retail banking and cards and payments. It has offices in London, Westport and Johannesburg.
